My good friend and some-time colleague, Kevin Shivers works in information security on the front lines. No, not Baghdad… a college campus. At CSI’s 30th Anniversary conference in DC on November 4, he delivered an excellent talk called “Taming the Beast – Securing A Large University Network.” Recently, he wrote “A story of fighting Blaster, an unpatched XP machine, and a dialup connection.”
